As a child I was physically clumsy and visually dyslexic. I also got car sick when we went on family vacations.
Mother would always put me in the front seat between dad and Mom and that made me feel really special. I always longed to have a deep and close connection with my mother, and this was the best remedy for motion sickness.
I learned so many things from Mother. From her organizing skills, to her magical cooking in the kitchen, to diligently shopping to find the very best deals. I had the best connection with her because of her open heart that loved me unconditionally.
She is also my role model for my lack of judgment in my coaching.
It is the open heart, the suspending of judgment, and the belief in the client’s abilities that I inherited from mother, and she never knew that she possessed these coaching competencies!
