Back in the early mid-70s, you gave me a gift, and I didn’t realize how powerful it was at the time. I believe it was in one of the inner negotiation workshops. You taught us, you taught me, the power of “the script.” That teaching saved a friendship of mine. One of my oldest friends wanted to get back together because I had broken up with him over some issue, and I knew exactly the words I wanted to hear, and I gave him his script. And when he read his script to me word for word, it was like magic; our relationship was healed. I heard what I needed to hear, and I felt what I needed to feel, and our friendship has prospered for nearly 2 decades since then. Thank you, Cherie!
